Terms and Conditions

  1. Participants must study the rules and regulations listed below carefully. Participants who completed the registration process agreed to be abided by the rules and regulations of the event that has been signed up.
  2. Once the entry is accepted, entry fee is non-refundable & non-transferable under any circumstances. An acknowledgement email will be sent to the registered email address within 10 working days after the Organiser has received the registration. Otherwise, please contact the Organiser immediately.
  3. Repeated entries will be counted as a single entry. The extra fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another applicant or other race. Also, the submitted form and information will not be returned.
  4. Late or on-site enrolment will not be accepted.
  5. Incomplete enrolment will not be accepted
  6. An email notice regarding collection of race pack will be sent to the registered participants two weeks before the event day.
  7. Participants show either the printout or electronic version of the notification email to our staff to collect the event materials.
  8. Participants should make sure their health conditions are suitable for the strenuous race. In cases of doubt, please seek medical advice in advance.
  9. Participants should understand the event content and nature and participating in this event requires physical exertion. Participants should be in sound medical condition capable of participating in the event. The Organizer suggests all participants to monitor their own physical conditions deemed fit and capable for participating in the event. In case you are feeling sick during the event, you should immediately stop the activity and do seek help from the onsite race officials.
  10. People who are pregnant or with chronic diseases, like heart disease and high blood pressure, are not recommended to participate in the event. 
  11. The Organizer reserve the right to disallow or disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event and such person shall accept.
  12. Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.
  13. If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 8:00 am on one day before the event, the event will be canceled. 
  14. If the Red Rainstorm Signal anf Black Rainstorm Signal are hoisted at any time from 04:00 am on the event day, the event will be canceled.
  15. If the event is canceled due to the above warning hoisted, the enrollment fee will not be refunded. 
  16. If the above Inclement Weather/Condition Warnings be hoisted after the commencement of event, the Race Director has the right to change the event distance or event arrangement or to stop the event. The enrollment fee will not be refunded.
  17. Baggage storage will be provided. Please do not bring any valuable items. The Organizer is not responsible for the lost or damage of the baggage stored with us.
  18. All prizes are not redeemable for cash.
  19. Participation in the Event is voluntary. The Participant and parent or guardian of participant who aged below 18 agree and accept all risks involved in the Event and gives up any right to claim from the organizing entities, including the Organizer, the Event Secretariat and Sponsors, on any personal injuries, accidents, death or other damage or losses caused by the activities of the Event. Participants and parents or guardians must ensure that themselves and/or their children are fit and suitable for participating in the Event. Participants can purchase their own insurance coverage if necessary. 
  20. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event due to the situation of novel coronavirus pandemic or other factors. The Organizer will announce the correspondnig inofrmation according to the circumstance on the offical event website. 
  21. If participants need to apply for a donation receipt, the personal data collected, including full name and email address, will be shared with the beneficiary for receipting purposes. 
  22. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or clarify the above race rules.

 

Remarks 

  1. Participants should take protective measures against UV, such as applying sunscreen, wearing caps and drinking water.
  2. Should there be any emergencies or assistance needed during the event, participants shall contact the officials at the information centre.
